We receive a lot of calls and emails from the public asking; "Will I receive any correspondence when my IVA has completed?".
Once the IVA has been completed and all the dividends made to the creditors, then a Certificate of Completion will be issued and any cautions placed against any property that you own will be lifted.
You will receive a schedule of all monies received in from you and it will also give a detailed breakdown of what happened to those funds – how much was allocated to IVA fees and what the creditors received.
The Certificate of Completion will prove that you have successfully completed the IVA and those creditors can no longer pursue you for any additional money.
Once the Insolvency Service has registered your IVA as completed, it is in your interest to ask for your credit file to be noted accordingly.
If you wish to discuss the Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) procedure and understand how it can help you please complete the following form or telephone freephone 0800 074 6918.
